We must address the skyrocketing cost of housing and the growing homelessness crisis on our streets. As your Assemblymember, I’m working to:
Create social housing that will put us in the driver’s seat of community development so we can build beautiful, sustainable, and mixed-income neighborhoods without relying on the for-profit developers
Promote smart growth policies that will create more mixed-use housing in dense areas that are available to mixed-income levels
Invest in supportive services for increased access to programs and housing for all Californians experiencing homelessness
Lower barriers for seniors who want to sell their homes to create more housing opportunities
Create stronger tenant protections to help people stay in their homes
Enact rent forgiveness for residents and businesses who have been unable to pay because of the COVID-19 pandemic
