David Alvarez was born, raised, and is still living in Barrio Logan with his family. Assemblymember Alvarez is the current representative of the 80th district that includes the San Diego Communities of Barrio Logan, Logan Heights, Sherman Heights, City Heights, Azalea Park, Otay Mesa, and San Ysidro, as well as the cities of Chula Vista, National City, and Bonita.
