Massachusetts needs to re-establish a civics education track in public school

Rents are skyrocketing destabilizing families, seniors, and the working class

Unions built the middle class in America, and there is no one who will be more committed to protecting workers' rights to unionize and demand fair wages than I will. When unions are empowered, everyone, including non-union workers, sees higher pay and better working conditions, and I will always fight to ensure that no employer can intimidate or terminate workers who stand up for their rights.
Massachusetts has some of the best schools in the world. Yet some of our students still go to crumbling schools without heat or air conditioning, using out of date and tattered textbooks. Many of our teachers remain underpaid, understaffed, and overwhelmed. Our kids are the future of this Commonwealth, and we need provide our school systems with the resources they need to ensure that all our students receive a high-quality education, which is why I strongly support the Fair Share initiative on the ballot this November. As State Rep., I will move to increase opportunity for students of all ages, and reward our teachers for the invaluable work that they do.
