• As your candidate for Secretary of State, I am committed to:
• Fair and transparent elections;
• Restoring confidence in our election, ultimately increasing voter turnout;
• Cleaning California’s voter rolls;
• Modernizing voting technology that is safe and secure to protect every ballot cast;
• Inspiring civic engagement;
• Finding new and innovative ways to register Californians eliminating messes like Motor Voter;
• Opposing efforts for taxpayer-funded campaigns;
• And creating an environment of opportunity and learning, so vulnerable communities have the convenience of voting like other communities.

My business card says "Special Situation Solutions" because I get involved in difficult business situations and help turn the entity around. I take a practical approach, focusing on what the problem is, not what the politics around it may be. My philosophy is most people know what the problems are, but many times for political or similar situations, they are afraid to speak up or do not know what to. I facilitate getting the problem out on the table and coming up with the solutions. That is what I want to do for the State of California. For you. Being Secretary of State puts me in a position where I can emphasize to the uninvolved people that they can change the skyrocketing costs, crime rates, bad commmutes and poorly performing schools by simply getting more involved, especially by voting for the candidates that are best suited to address those issues, and that is what I intend to do. Elections that have to be fair, which the Secretary of State is charged with ensuring.
