Personal rights are the bedrock of our nation, and I oppose the overreaching, and unconstitutional policies our state administrators have been pushing and enforcing on us.
California has been in a State of Emergency for over two years, and it is becoming clear that our legislators are not following the science, but following the money, and wanting more control. I fervently object to Mandates, Vaccine Passports, Digital ID, and anything else that restricts your free movement in society, and forces unwanted, experimental medical procedures upon you
Soft on crime bills, weak DA's, and a defund the police mentality is destroying our cities. Crime is surging all over California, and the good men and women of law enforcement need to be assured that they are supported by their communities. The primary role of government is to ensure the safety of the population they govern. Their power is derived from the consent of those people. The rank and file officers of this state should not be utilized as the army of the elite, but instead, as the protectors of the people. Politicians seem to forget that.
This is a huge reason for what drove me to run. I am a concerned dad of two young boys and I do not co-parent with the Government. Bills, like SB 866, that strip parental consent away, and the school curriculums that are prioritizing and promoting gender dysphoria, CRT, and a disgust for our country, will have lasting implications for the future. We need to get back to basics and you can be sure, I will be speaking up and standing up for your kids and our parental rights.
As Californians, we already pay some of the highest taxes in the country. Our sales and gas taxes are the highest in the nation, and the fees and new taxes continue to pile on. Sacramento has a spending problem, not a revenue problem. Easing the burden of overtaxing the citizens, needs to be examined. Record inflation has gripped our nation, shortages, and supply-chain issues are inevitable. I want the hard working citizens of California to keep the money they rightfully deserve.
I oppose bills like SB9 and SB10 because I believe these centrally controlled, one-size-fits-all bills, do not serve our unique communities. Zoning laws need to be handled locally and take many circumstances into consideration. Southern California is dealing with water and energy issues as well, and our current leadership has done nothing to address these issues, except mandate more affordable housing.
Home is where your heart is. For too long, the state and federal government has fostered an atmosphere that incentivizes, you giving up control over what you have. Whether it is your children, money, vaccinations, school choice, critical race theory, or financial assistance; WE DO NOT CONSENT, and we DO NOT CO-PARENT with the government. Decisions involving what is best for you, should stay with you. As your elected representative in the State Assembly, I will stand up to, and challenge the members, of BOTH houses, who strive to strip you of your power over your family, and children’s future. The government was put into place to PROTECT your rights, not to limit them. I pledge to fight for the sanctity and liberties of families across this state.
I wholeheartedly oppose the overreaching and unconstitutional medical policies of this administration, both at a state and federal level. I believe in science, and in saying that, I believe that science changes. If we cannot argue that, then it is not science but, propaganda. I object to Vaccine Passports, Mandates, Digital ID, and anything else that restricts your free movement in society, and forces unwanted, experimental medical procedures, upon you. Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, were ideals, enshrined into the United States Constitution. Our own California Constitution echoes that also. As a police officer, I swore an oath to uphold the constitution against enemies, both foreign and domestic. I will never let that oath be tarnished. The ideals, and core values that I’ve lived by for most of my life, and the values of the LAPD, guide me not only in uniform but, in my personal life, too. My goal is to restore, and secure, our God given rights as Americans.
We are put on this earth to explore our souls, not to sell them. For too long, politicians in California have fed the pockets of special interest groups, wasted our tax dollars on failed projects, and restricted water for much needed industries, like farming. The administration and democrat lawmakers have cast aside YOUR interests for those of globalists and pharmaceutical giants, never answering for their abuse of power. Today, we are looking at a tidal wave of bills being shoveled through the assembly, hoping to be passed into law before the mid-term elections, that have a direct impact on all of our futures. Who will hold those in “power” accountable? I challenge you all to send me. I am not afraid of the task. We have an oppressive tax system here in this state. Businesses are leaving in droves, and with that, thousands of jobs. At 7.25%, California has the highest, minimum statewide sales tax in the United States, to go along with a crushing personal income tax . However, somehow Sacramento still finds a way to get blood from a stone. Even democrat voters are fleeing the state, in record numbers. Unfortunately, they are taking their ridiculous ideals to other states to ruin. Those of us who have chosen to stay, see the beauty of this state and recognize that it is worth saving. As Assemblyman, I would immediately sponsor a measure to suspend the gas tax to help the already struggling California family. Crime is another skyrocketing topic. Our police departments, statewide, are facing defunding, dwindling quality applicants, and media scrutiny. They are handcuffed by feckless leadership and unions who do not stand alongside them. They are undercut from all sides, yet they continue to adjust and provide services to you. Our police are no longer proactive but, reactive due to a small minority of activist groups which have permitted all levels of government. The rank and file officers of this state should not be utilized as the army for the elite, but instead, as the protectors of the people. The good, hardworking, tax paying businesses and citizens. They should not be preyed upon by the criminals nor the compromised, progressive, District Attorneys. I pledge to fund our police departments, I pledge to stand with them to help them do the jobs that they swore to do. I pledge to work arm in arm, educating them of the importance of their oaths.
