As a resident of the district since childhood, I understand the unique promise our community offers to everyone who lives, works or visits here. As a small business owner, husband and father of two young boys, I also know the challenges that we face in continuing to realize that promise for ourselves and the generation to come.
Education remains a top priority for me. Now in my third term as a member of the Joint Committee on Education, I am focused on ways to increase funding as a way to ensure that our students receive an excellent education. Whether it’s advocating for increases in funding in the annual budget or working to secure important grant money, our office is dedicated to doing all that we can for the students of Newburyport, Salisbury and Amesbury. Your input is important to us, so please let us know what we can do to further help our schools throughout the district.
As your State Representative, I have worked tirelessly to make sure that you are well-represented on Beacon Hill. Whether it is restoring the bus stop for seniors on Water Street in Newburyport, attending an Eagle Scout awards ceremony in Amesbury or helping a resident access important services for their child, our office is always available to provide the representation that you deserve.
As a small business owner, I understand what it takes to be self employed in today’s competitive economy.
I recently served on the Economic Development Conference Committee and worked closely with Governor Baker, the Administration and leadership in the State House to pass the bipartisan Job Creation and Workforce Development Bill.
It is important to me to make sure that businesses in Newburyport, Salisbury and Amesbury are well-represented on Beacon Hill.
