Ian Weeks grew up in the Temecula Valley, and now lives in Hemet with his wife of 11 years, and two young sons. Ian is, first and foremost, a believer in and follower of Jesus Christ. He is a graduate of the University of Redlands School of Business, and professionally, a Certified Financial Planner. Ian has practiced financial planning for the last 16 years. He also serves as one of the worship leaders at his local church. He is an avid outdoorsman, and spends his free time with his family boating, fishing, hiking, and horseback riding.
As your next Assemblyman, Ian will advocate for policies that make life better for regular California families. Policies that are tough on crime, sensible on fiscal matters, friendly for businesses, while remaining compassionate to our neediest citizens. Ian believes that the practical needs of the citizens must come first over ideological positions. Ian will lead with integrity, honesty, and transparency.
Democrats have held control over the California Legislature for over 70 years. Their policies have benefited a select few members of the elite class, while simultaneously failing the vast majority of our citizenry. It’s time for a change. Join Ian Weeks, and together, let’s restore this beautiful state to its former glory.
Roll back laws that reduced punishments for criminals for violent offenses and sex offenders. Give police more tools and flexibility to combat serious street criminals and gangs and the support they need to do their jobs.
Ian will bring more transparency to the classrooms and give parents more say over what is taught in the classrooms. Parents should be able to move children out of underperforming schools or classrooms where ideologies are pushed instead of education.
Ian will push back on new and existing policies that make everything from daily utilities like water, fuel, and electricity some of the highest rates in the country. Ian will support more housing to bring the cost of homeownership down and make affordability possible to the next generation of Californians.
Ian will work to defeat new restrictions on job creators to encourage businesses moving out of the State to stay here with their employees and contributions to the 5th largest economy in the world.
Ian believes that you can protect endangered species and build the roads and water infrastructure to support California’s population.
