Steve is a lifelong resident of Malden and has remained active in his community for over thirty years. He served sixteen years as President of the St. Rocco Society and seven years as a board member and Chairman of the Malden YMCA. He served as President of the Massachusetts Correctional Education Association for four years and was President of the State Directors Council for the International Correctional Education Association. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Monsignor Neagle Housing Association and is a member of the Malden Kiwanis. Steve is a lifetime member of the Massachusetts Association of School Committees and was recognized across the Commonwealth for his service and doctoral research in 2013.
Healthcare is a basic right and not a luxury. Everyone across the Commonwealth should have adequate access to basic healthcare.
Steve supports expanding access for working families, seniors, and those that need help the most while ensuring equal access to healthcare for all.
