Megan Dahle is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly. A Republican, she represents the 1st State Assembly district, which encompasses parts of Northern California and the Sierra Nevada region.
Crime is increasing, and that part of the problem is an increasingly large homeless population. Let me be very clear: as your Assemblywoman I will vote to get rid of the laws which let dangerous felons out of jail early, and which have decreased penalties for drug and property crime. At the same time, we need to have some compassion for our fellow Californians. We need to give local government the resources they need to make sure no family or child or veteran ever has to sleep on the street and to require that the mentally ill or drug-addicted get treatment so they can take care of themselves again.
