I was born and raised in Solano County in a family that pushed traditional values and hard work. I have 16 years experience in the water industry performing and supervising Operations and Maintenance tasks, 13 years of which was with a local irrigation District and now three years with a Bay Area water district.
The infrastructure of this country is slowly failing due to mismanagement of your tax dollars. California is ground zero for this as evidenced by the failing roads and utility systems. Many of these structures and networks are far beyond their useful life and need to be repaired or replaced NOW. We need to ensure that funds are directed where they should be and that projects are not held up for years due to environmental and permitting burdens. Funding for projects such as the high speed rail in California needs to be ceased immediately.
