Cathy McMorris Rodgers is Eastern Washington’s chief advocate in Congress, serving as the representative for the state’s 5th Congressional District. Since first being elected to the House in 2004, she has earned the trust of her constituents and praise on Capitol Hill for her hard work, conservative principles, bipartisan outreach, and leadership to get results for Eastern Washington. Growing up on an orchard and fruit stand in Kettle Falls, working at her family’s small business, and later becoming a wife and working mom of three, Cathy has lived the American Dream. Now, she works every day to rebuild that dream for our children and grandchildren.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Eastern Washington Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-05) today announced that Patrick Bell will serve as her District Director in Eastern Washington starting December 9, following the departure of District Director Traci Couture, who has served in that role since 2016.
“Patrick brings a passion for getting results and reaching out to communities across Washington’s Fifth Congressional District,” said Cathy. “He has a deep understanding of the issues facing our region, and I’m excited for him to take on this new role to assist me as we work to listen, learn, and lead on behalf of the people of Eastern Washington.”
NOTE: Traci Couture will be transitioning to the Spokane Teaching Health Center to serve as their Executive Director. She has served in Cathy’s office for three and a half years.
