Brian Maienschein is an American attorney and politician currently serving in the California State Assembly, representing the 77th district, encompassing parts of northeastern San Diego since 2012.
As San Diego’s first Commissioner on Homelessness, Brian created Project 25 which helped to get individuals off the street and into housing with supportive resources. The initiative saved the taxpayers millions of dollars. Brian has championed the creation of affordable housing and expanded mental health services to help those living on the streets.
