The daughter of a nurse and public school bus driver, both union members, Blanca Pacheco grew up in a working class community. Blanca understands the California Dream, because she and her family have lived it.
I am a firm believer in ensuring equality for all people and stopping any form of discrimination in its tracks. That’s why I will not only be an advocate for women’s rights, but I will also be an ally of the LGBTQ+ community and will work to advance policies that prevent discrimination and ensure a more just, fair, and equitable California. I will also work to make certain that equal pay for equal work for women and men is a reality in our state.
