The daughter of a nurse and public school bus driver, both union members, Blanca Pacheco grew up in a working class community. Blanca understands the California Dream, because she and her family have lived it.
Across our state, the cost of housing has skyrocketed, and if this pace continues, it won’t be sustainable. That’s why in the State Assembly, I’ll work to expand affordable housing so that more Californians can afford a place to call home. I’ll also work to reduce homelessness by advancing compassionate policies like investing in supportive and permanent housing, mental health services, job-training, and more, to provide resources to those in need while helping to get people off the streets and into housing.
